I have to admit that for the past month I prayed very selfishly that my nephew would be born that one weekend I was home. Even as time grew closer my prayers turned to "well if it's you will" but deep down I really wanted to see him when he was born. I missed my nieces birth and wasn't able to meet her till she was 5 months old because I was in Africa.

On Sunday the Lord answered my prayer. Deklan Michael was born. I was able to see and hold him before I had to go back to college. Its such a great reminder that the Lord really does love us and wants to treat us to things every once in a while.
