I just finished reading all the bios and about me’s put up on our team blog for Uganda. What talent and heart I will have the blessing of leading. I cannot wait to meet each of them, know them, and lead them.

This past weekend was one of remembering and letting go. I had not been to AIM since returning from the field right after Sarah died. Being back there brought up a lot of memories and lies that I have been holding on to. I was able to let a lot of those lies go. I really started to tap into how much words have power. Especially when you speak them over yourself. I have not been doing myself a favor for the past two years. But that has stopped. Starting this past weekend I WILL speak truth and life over me. I WILL believe the Lord above all else and I will know that He LOVES me.

The co-leader that I was able to meet, Kasandra is an amazing daughter of Christ. She is compassionate and caring. We are going to make a great team with whoever the third leader is and with our team of High Schoolers. Lives will be changed in Uganda this summer.

  1. This highschooler is excited to get to know you and to be going to Uganda with you! Seriously, your comments on the team blog made my day 🙂 I would love to ‘talk’ with you and get to know you more.. and I would’ve befriended you on facebook already (if you have one?) except for the fact that there are quite a few “Rebecca Arnold”s on there. Anyway, basically I’m just saying hey 🙂

Looking forward to this summer and Uganda!
