You never know what you are capable of till you try.

The task: deconstruct a common/well known dessert.
My choice: Blueberry Crisp.
The result:

So many times in school especially this past year, I look at the skills of my classmates and wish I had them. Knowing I'm not as good as others in class, I have always put myself and my skills in the kitchen in a box. This final project made me step out of that box. What a task it was. The first day we were assigned it I didn't know what to think. I never thought I would see the other side. But, I did.

Today I surprised myself. I am impressed with what I was able to pull off. I never once got nervous or messed up. My plating was all my idea. I walked away from class knowing that I can do this. Which is a great feeling. I can only hope that Chef liked it just as much as I do.
