I have made it to Jeffrey’s Bay. I got in on Tuesday night my time, a little
before noon Tuesday for those who are in the states. The team is doing well. They are getting use to the area. Right now they are doing a scavenger hunt
around town. It will be interesting to
see how Jeffrey’s takes having 55 Americans around. I’m sure it is in a little bit of shock right
now.
It is a little weird being here without my Jbay team from
06. I miss you guys. I wish you were here with me. But I am excited to see what happens this
year. I know that the Lord has some big
things in store for the town but also for the team.
This weekend we are going to the bush to spend some days as
a team in the middle of nowhere. I am
super excited for this. I think it will
be good for our team to get out of town and regroup. There will be some USCA (This is where we are
staying. It is a mission org. over
here.) people there facilitating activities. It should be good.
So as for prayer requests please pray that:
The rest of our team
can join us over here soon. We had
some visa and passport trouble and not everyone came with. But they should be joining soon. 3 of them
did not receive their passport and visa in time. And one lost her passport on the travel over
here and was not able to enter the country and was deported home.
Unity on the team.
We have a big team and it’s hard at that size to keep everyone involved. Also unity for the leadership team we have 14
of us.
Safety and a great
time this weekend.
Thank you for all of your prayers. I promise to keep you updated as much as
possible.
