Last nights was a night for Firsts.
1. It SNOWED. Yeah here in Gainesville we got snow. Em and I were getting ready for Youth Goup (Which ended up canceled because of the snow)and checked the weather outside and it was snowing. We had to check it out. So we went out and stood in it for a sec. It was wonderful. It reminded me of home. I had to call home and tell mom that it was snowing. Oh and to let everyone know people in the south don’t know how to drive in snow. The traffic was so slow. Em kept saying to the other drivers-” Its just like rain, you can do it.” I laughed at the whole situation.
2. Em and I invited ourselves over to a friends house. Em and I are both strong introverts and are not otters (party people). But when Youth Group was canceled we called your friend Connie and asked it we could come and hang out for a while. Her husband was away and another of our friends was there so we thought why not step out of our box. Well it was fun. We played Guitar Hero forever. Well not forever but until our eyes watered and we couldn’t see straight anymore. I didn’t do as bad as I thought that I would. Em and I were really close on skill level so it made it fun to compete because every note counted. Thanks Connie and Ashley for letting us join your evening. Em thanks for being a great competitor.
