So I am into my FOH station.

I spent a week as commi (back server). Which means that I served bread with two forks and kept waters filled along with whatever else that the servers needed. I enjoyed being back server. I was able to serve and help support the team. My family (well really my mom, Aunt and Best friend and family) surprised me.  They drove 4 hours both ways just to eat at our restaurant. What a blessing.
Now I am a server with a section and a book. I have only done this for two days before breaking for spring break (thanks to a snow day). The first day I was very nervous and wasn't quite sure what to expect but I was given two great tables with lovely couples. The second day came easier. I always feel like I am able to breath after I have delivered the entrees. Its just down hill from there. I'm sure that I will do just fine for the rest of the time I get to serve.

Then its on to the host stand.
