Saturday I was honored to be Maid of Honor in my Best Friend's (Sarah) wedding. It was an amazing day. I got be part of a wedding that was totally God centered and God headed. You could tell that both Bride and Groom alike loved God before the other. The ceremony itself was like no other I have seen. It was not the normal vows and ring ceremony. They had worship, washing of feet and communion along with vows. They were convinced that the first thing they should do as husband and wife was par-take in communion. You knew that they wanted to keep God as center of their marriage. From the beginning of the relationship Matt and Sarah have always kept in mind that God was most important and they wanted to make sure people could see that from the outside. And they have.

Their first Dance.

All through out the day you saw people stepping out in servanthood. Even before the wedding people were helping out by offering to bake the cake, do the pictures and do bouquet for free as a gift. It was such a blessing. At the reception there were a handful of people that stepped up and helped with food and helped make sure that people had what they needed. It was so cool to see the body of Christ in action and celebrating Christ and Marriage. Even this morning at church people were still glowing and shining from the day before. I know that God brought his Joy to that day. I thank Christ for giving my two friends a day that was for them. They are two amazing people who are totally in love with God and each other.

Three of us Bridemaids.
